Publication Policies.

Who Can Submit?

We welcome ideas from any prospective author anywhere in the world. If you have an idea for a proposal for a book project or a completed manuscript, please let us know by contacting us via the KeyPoint Press website. We will provide you with feedback and discuss publishing possibilities.

Anyone may submit their original ideas for publication consideration by KeyPoint Press provided they own the copyright to the work being submitted or are authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the idea or concept. Authors are the owners of the copyright to their work.

General Submission Rules

Submitted manuscripts cannot have been previously published nor be pending publication in any form (print or electronic). By submitting material to KeyPoint Press, the author(s) warranty that the material is not currently under review at another publisher (electronic or print) and author(s) agree to not submit their work to another publication resource (including self-publishing) until KeyPoint Press has completed its review process to determine whether or not to pursue publication.

KeyPoint Press does not charge authors any manuscript processing or submission fees. After publication, authors have the limited right to reuse pre- or post-publication content from their manuscripts for use in academic teaching and presentation to students and other faculty. This academic limitation includes the right to post pre-print or post-print versions of book chapters online, including on their personal, departmental, or institutional repository pages. Authors may not exercise this limited right in any way that violates the terms of their contract with KeyPoint Press, which supersedes this policy.  If you have concerns about the submission terms for the KeyPoint Press, please contact us.

Formatting Requirements

See KeyPoint Press Submission Guidelines for details. KeyPoint Press has experts to help answer any questions you have about preparing your manuscript for publication at no charge.  It is ultimately the responsibility of author(s) to ensure their manuscript conforms to our Submission Guidelines, and KeyPoint Press reserves the right to return any manuscript with or without further consideration if manuscripts fail to satisfy our Submission Guidelines.
